Farhan Akhtar’s much talked about film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has been scheduled to release on the 12th of July next year.
The film, which has been directed and produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is based on the life of eminent athlete Milkha Singh, who has been reported to have sold the story for just a rupee. It has also been decided that the remuneration from the film will be allocated to help needy athletes.
Akhtar built an athletic frame for this role and also grew long his hair and beard. Sonam Kapoor will play the parallel lead in the film, which has been shot in Ladakh, Tokyo, Rome and Melbourne. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have been roped in as the music composers.

Yes! I'll be honest (and this is my personal opinion), I was sick of SEL getting under utilized in projects where there's little scope for music, and for a while had a rough patch for the same reason. ROM is class, he cares about quality, ergo SEL have had LOTS of room to unleash their full potential with Farhan and ROM, as evident from the trailer \m/
I hope this is the beginning of another great partnership for SEL
