90% of desi music directors use some drum software like Stylus (and now Digidesign's Strike)
when u buy the software licence, you also get the intellectual rights to use those loops. if music dir A and B both use it, then thats not plagarism.. that just proves both are cheap enough to use presets from a software.
I dont know how JBJ falls under above though.
In any case not only do south indian studios blatantly use stylus presets, they dont even own licenced copies sometimes and use pirated.. now thats not just plagarism.. thats basically international theft. |

how do you deal with such accusations?
Does your lawyer/agent deal with them or do you just prefer to ignore such as a dog's bark?
How does it affect you personally? Does it bother you?

| hey i have no clue i could pursue this and get our lawyer to do something about it . all we know is that we didnt copy anyhting .......... i can sleep peacefully at night !!! |
